Rachel went on to add that from bake sales and black tie dinners to Santa dashes and running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, Andrew had brought the community together and in addition raised awareness of blood cancer across South Holland.

The funds will go towards funding an experienced researcher  to carry out experimental work on a project focused on treating Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), a particularly aggressive form of blood cancer, to enable better treatments and, ultimately a cure.

Rachel expressed how grateful they were for Andrew's unwavering commitment and support.
