More information is available at:

Support for the self-employed and members of partnerships

The Self-employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) available from GOV.UK has been extended. If your business was eligible for the first and second phases of this grant, you may make a claim for the third grant if your business has had a new or continuing impact due to coronavirus between 1 November 2020 and 29 January 2021, which you reasonably believe will have a significant reduction in your profits.

Tax liability

Self-employed people in financial distress and with outstanding tax liabilities may be eligible to receive support with their tax affairs through HMRC tax payment information.

Self-employed statutory sick pay (SSP) eligibility

If you aren't eligible for SSP, for example if you're self-employed or earning below the Lower Earnings Limit and you have COVID-19 or are advised to self-isolate, you can now make a claim for Universal Credit (UC) or new style Employment and Support Allowance:

Income Tax payment support

Income Tax payments due in July 2020 under the self-assessment system will be deferred to January 2021. View the financial changes and support set out by Government during COVID-19.
