The Home Energy Advice & Retrofit Team has had nationally recognised success in delivering green homes initiatives over a number of previous schemes.

 

These schemes are designed to provide energy efficiency upgrades and low-carbon heating solutions to low-income households to improve warmth, wellbeing and reduce utility bills.

 

These schemes have benefited thousands of residents across East Lindsey, Boston and South Holland districts in terms of improving warmth and wellbeing and saving money on energy bills, with the addition of positive impact on the homes carbon footprint contributing towards the governments Net Zero goals.

Domestic Retrofit Grant Successes:

854 homes completed through previous schemes.

On track to deliver further circa 480 homes through current HUG2 programme

 

 

The Local Authority Delivery (LAD3) Scheme is designed to improve the energy efficiency performance of properties that are on the mains gas network.
The Home Upgrade Grant (HUG1) Scheme is designed to provide energy efficiency upgrades and low-carbon heating solutions to low-income households living off-gas grid.
The Home Upgrade Grant (HUG2) scheme is designed to provide energy efficiency upgrades and low-carbon heating solutions to low-income households living off-gas grid (i.e. there is no option to connect to the mains gas network in that area).
