A group of dedicated volunteers in South Holland who work tirelessly to bring people of our community together have successfully become the first committee to get their Crowd project 'Dog play paddock and exercise area' fully-funded as part of the 'South & East Lincolnshire Crowd'.

The South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership has led on a campaign to address the issue of significant and increasing Internal Drainage Board levies which are funded from the Council Tax the Councils raise.

Partnership working between South Holland District Council and Lincolnshire County Council has resulted in a large fly-tip being cleared at Drain Bank near Cowbit last month.

Ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6 May, South Holland District Council has organised a selection of great festivities in Spalding town centre and Ayscoughfee Gardens over the Bank Holiday weekend.

South Holland District Council is again this year taking part in the national campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities across the country called "Love Your Local Market", this will be celebrating the important role that markets play within local communities from Friday 12th May to Saturday 27th May. The South Holland Outdoor Festival is returning for the Easter holidays, with a host of great activities, free taster sessions, nature labs and seven Easter egg hunts across the District to get involved with.

More than £15m of funding has been secured to help hundreds of residents to reduce their energy bills and live more comfortably in their own homes.

On Friday (17 March), South Holland District Council was awarded a £30,000 Arts Council England National Lottery grant to create a unique new art installation in Spalding town centre, working in partnership with Transported Arts and local residents and schools.
