Service interruptions

Our Priory Road office will be open as usual today (Monday 5 March)

Normal waste collection services have resumed, so:

  • If your black or green bag is due to be collected on Monday 5 March, please place it out as usual.

  • If your black or green bag was missed this week due to the weather, please keep bags safe and secure on your own property (in their usual storage place) until your usual collection day, when we ask you to put them out again for collection.

  • If icy conditions continue, or worsen, we will update you if there is continued disruption

    Please remember to ensure your black or green bags are put out for collection by 6.00am, but no earlier than 6pm the night before.

  • Garden waste collections: are also expected to resume, as normal, from Monday 5 March. Please put your bag out on your next normal collection day, or if you need a collection urgently, please contact us and we will try and arrange this for you.

  • Bulky collections: If you were due a bulky collection (non-white goods) - please put your item out on your next black bag collection day.

  • White goods: If you were booked in to have a white goods collection please put your item out on Friday 9 March 2018 by 6am.

Homelessness support

If you or somebody you know or see in the district is sleeping rough at the moment, please call us on 01775 761161 so we can provide access to emergency temporary accommodation during the current cold snap.
