Greater Lincolnshire approved for business rates retention scheme
Greater Lincolnshire has been approved to be a pilot for a business rates retention scheme during 2018/19.
The Local Government Finance Settlement announced by Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Sajid Javid MP earlier this week, confirmed ten pilots nationally.
Councillor Gary Porter, Leader of South Holland District Council, said: "I'm delighted that our joint bid for the pilot scheme has been successful and would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work.
"This will ensure that funds from a locally collected tax are spent on local services."
