Spalding Pumpkin Festival Road Closures

This year's event will be taking place on Friday 12th October 2018.

The event starts at 11am with a festival market and activities on the Sheep Market car park and town centre areas.

Some road closures will be in operation during the day.

Roads closed for the entire day are as follows:

Sheep Market:  7am - 10pm

Sheep Market Car Park:  closed all day

Market Place / Hall Place:  4pm - 10pm (these areas are already pedestrianised from 10am - 4.30pm so this road closure is an extension of the traffic restrictions already in place).

The Crescent: 4pm - 10pm

Rolling Road Closures on the Parade Route (between 6pm-8pm) are as follows:

Station Street / Spring Gardens

London Road

Haverfield Road

Priory Road

High Bridge

The rolling road closures are put in place to allow the parade to pass through.  The advance notification signs are placed on the roads to advertise the closures between the times of 6pm - 8pm.  No deliveries or access will be allowed until the Parade has passed through and it is safe to re-open these roads.

Where possible, please could we ask that deliveries are arranged outside of these road closure times.  However, if you know in advance of a delivery, let us know so that we can try to accommodate access as long as it is safe to do so.  Unfortunately we will not be able to grant access at the busy points of the event between 5pm - 8.30pm.
