Grant support for businesses required to close by law
South Holland District Council has made up to date automatic 'Restart grant' payments to all eligible businesses on the rating list, who accessed previous COVID-19 Local Restrictions Support Grant funding (for Closed Businesses) since November 2020. Businesses that did not access previous funding but submitted an application by the deadline of the 30th June 2021 are being processed and paid. Due to government guidance, South Holland District Council is unable to accept any new applications under the Restart grant programme as the deadline has now passed.
In terms of the Local Restrictions Support Grant (for Closed Businesses), South Holland District Council has made up to date, automatic payments to eligible businesses on the rating list that had been and continue to be mandated to close by law during local and national restrictions. Businesses who applied for recent variations of the Local Restrictions Support Grant (for Closed Business) and those that received funding for previous grant periods since November 2020 have been paid. Both the government's application and payment deadline for the Local Restrictions Support grant (for Closed Businesses) has now passed and therefore South Holland District Council is unable to accept any new applications under this grant program.
Businesses are encouraged to monitor the Council's website and social media in the event that future COVID-19 financial support for businesses is announced.
