Polling cards sent out for May elections in the District
Posted on 23 March 2021
Polling cards will be arriving through South Holland letterboxes from today (Tuesday 23 March) for all those eligible to vote in the Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner Elections, the Lincolnshire County Council Elections or the Sutton Bridge Parish Council By-Election on Thursday 6 May.
The poll card provides information on where residents' designated polling station is and how arrangements can be made for a postal or proxy vote, as well as more details about the Election Day itself. Residents should check which polling station is listed on their card, as some of these locations may have changed since the last election. Anyone registered for a postal vote will receive a pink polling card to signify this.
Anyone who is registered to vote can apply for a postal vote up to 5pm on Tuesday 20 April. The deadline for a new proxy vote application is 5pm on Tuesday 27 April. The statements of nominated persons for the elections will be released by South Holland District Council by 4pm on Friday 9 April.
