Consultation open for proposed 2019/20 budget
Posted on 20 December
South Holland District Council want to hear the opinions of all residents, partner organisations, businesses and other interested parties as part of the 2019/20 budget setting process.
At a meeting of South Holland's Cabinet this week (17 December), councillors discussed the proposed budget for 2019/20 and future financial strategies. If the plans are adopted next year, this would include significant investments in local communities over the coming 12 months, a continued commitment to new and affordable housing in the district, but also a small rise in council tax.
Having now been discussed by Cabinet, the draft budget is now available on the council's website for people to read and comment on. Local residents and business-owners are invited to submit their comments between 19 December and 25 January. These will then be taken into consideration before the draft budget is discussed at full council.
The full draft budget is available to view in the cabinet agenda here. If you would like to feedback you can send your thoughts and comments to consultations@sholland.gov.uk.
