Roads, highways and pavements - gritting (County service)

Winter Salting of Roads in Lincolnshire is supported by Lincolnshire County Council (Highways and Planning).

Gritting is used during the colder months to maintain the safety of roads and street. Throughout winter, the County Council provides gritting services for strategic routes and principal roads, bus routes, and pedestrian routes such as footways and pavements.
