How we provide this service
Out of hours emergencies is supported by Customer Services.
What to do to get this service
Our normal office hours for customer contact are:
Monday 8.30 - 5.15
Tuesday 8.30 - 5.15
Wednesday 9.00 - 5.15
Thursday 8.30 - 5.15
Friday 8.30 - 4.45
There are two ways to access information about our services out-of-hours.
1) You can use our website to access information about our services, make payments to us and download forms and leaflets.
2) You can telephone us and you will be put through to our out-of-hours emergency service.
When you speak to the emergency service please provide them with your name, contact number and address. Based on what you tell the staff and the issue itself, they will decide one of two things:
1) the issue can wait and they will make sure customer services will receive notification the following working day
2) the issue is an emergency in which case they will contact relevant staff who will respond to you as soon as possible
Further Information on this service
If you phone the council the next working day during our office hours to follow up your first call, please tell the member of staff you speak to that you have already made a call to us about the issue. We can then track the progress from the initial call and advise you if any action has already been taken on the matter.
