How we provide this service
First Contact, a service which allows people aged 60 and over to access a range of information and advice to help them stay safe and well in their home through one point of contact is supported by Lincolnshire County Council.

What to do to get this service
Customers can fill in a simple checklist either attached to one of the First Contact leaflets, with a trained member of staff, or on the phone with a First Contact Central Coordinator based at the Council's Customer Service Centre, or online.
Once completed the checklist will generate referrals to the appropriate partner agency. The relevant agency will then contact the customer within 28 days to offer information and advice on services which may be available.

Whilst the information supplied will be free, for some services there may be a charge.

The website offers a range of information from crime prevention to benefits and money;
it also includes an electronic version of the First Contact checklist.
Printed leaflets available providing more information
First Contact leaflets are available from many places within local communities such as local libraries and GP surgeries.
