Civil emergencies - flooding

How we provide this service

Emergency planning on flooding and flood risk is supported by Community & Neighbourhood Services, Emergency Planning.

The Emergency Planning team receive regular severe weather warnings from the Met Office and flood warnings from the Environment Agency. In addition, we maintain some stocks of sandbags for use in the event of a flooding problem.

The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum Team plan and take part in Multi-Agency exercises to ensure we are prepared to respond to flooding emergencies.

For further information on flooding including advice on what to do if you are affected by flooding go to the Environment Agency's Website.
