Tenant Participation
How we provide this service
We aim to consult our tenants on the important decisions we have to make about their homes and estates. We also encourage tenants to get involved and participate with the Council in planning for the future and reviewing our services. This service is is supported by Housing & Property Service Unit, Housing Operational.
The Tenants Compact
To reflect our commitment to tenant consultation and involvement, we have negotiated a Tenants' Compact with the South Holland Tenants' Group.
This is an agreement between our tenants and us. It aims to make sure that all tenants have the chance to influence how their homes and communities are managed. The agreement says how we will consult you, keep you informed and involve you in decisions that directly affect your home and community.
South Holland Tenants' Group
The Council recognises and supports a tenants' association, the South Holland Tenants' Group. They will also be able to tell you how you can join the group.
