Information about reporting water pollution is supported by Environmental Services, Safety & Environment.
Common Questions
Q. The river or other watercourse is being polluted. A. Contact our Environmental Health Department and give details of the incident. It will be assessed by a professional officer who will determine whether it is a matter which the Council can take action on, or whether it should be referred to the Environment Agency.
