Land use - Proposals

How we provide this service

Proposals on land use is supported by Planning and Development, Planning.

The South Holland District Council Local Plan sets out the planning policies which will guide and control new development in the District until 2021, encouraging the economy to grow and allowing more housing to be built as part of a balanced strategy.

Our interactive maps set out the land use proposals in accordance with the local plan.

The Local Plan can be viewed online, at the Council Offices, or at any of the local libraries. The Local Plan can be purchased for £30 or £40 including p&p with cheques made payable to SHDC.
