Details of sports grants is supported by Economic & Community Development, Sports Development.

Further Information on this service

Grants may be made by South Holland District Council to provide subsidy or direct funding to an individual or club for non-profit making purposes in support of sporting excellence, coaching qualifications and/or coach development.

Coaching Grants
The District Council recognises the need to invest in people and support community activity through the establishment of qualified coaches at all levels of sport. We aim to extend access and participation by encouraging more people to become actively involved in coaching and by supporting activities that are open and accessible to everyone who wishes to take part. Coaching Grants of up to £80 are currently available.

Travel Grants
The District Council recognises that to develop an individual or team performance level there is a need to attend organised and recognised events outside the South Holland area. By supporting activities which help to develop individuals and teams we aim to encourage talent and raise standards. Travel Grants of up to £150 are currently available.
