How we provide this service
Publishing results of elections is supported by Electoral Services.
The Electoral Services section is responsible for the administration of Local Government (District, County and Parish Council), Parliamentary and European Parliamentary elections and referendums.

District Council elections
- Elections are held every four years at the same time as Parish Council elections on the first Thursday in May.
- The last elections were held on 5th May 2011.

Parliamentary Elections (known as General Election)
European Parliamentary Elections
- Elections are held every five years in June.
- The last elections were held on 4th June 2009 and the next election will be held in June 2014.

By-Elections
By-elections to fill casual vacancies arising from resignations, disqualification or the death of a Councillor/Member of Parliament are held as and when necessary.

A. May 2015.
Q. What Constituency does South Holland fall in for Parliamentary elections?
A. The name of the Constituency is South Holland and the Deepings which covers the whole of South Holland District plus parts of the South Kesteven District Council area (Deeping St James, Market Deeping, West Deeping, Baston and Langtoft). However, at the next Parliamentary General Election the boundaries will be changed and Baston and Langtoft will no longer be part of this Constituency.
