How we provide this service
The community plan for South Holland is supported by Assistant Chief Executive, Partnerships Team.
The community plan for South Holland sets out the priorities for the area, which are based on what we know about the needs of the area and what local people have told us. The community plan has been developed with our partners and we work with these partners to deliver it.
Note: The council has a statutory duty to develop a comprehensive community strategy, to promote and improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area.
The duty to prepare a community strategy is part of the Government's wider programme of democratic renewal and reform. This aims to ensure that councils are accountable, open and responsive to the needs of local communities and that there is continuous improvement in the efficiency and quality of services.
