Missed Refuse Collection
How we provide this service
Information about missed refuse collection (the non-collection of black bags) is supported by Community & Neighbourhood Services, Waste Services.
What to do to get this service
If your refuse was put out at your properties curtilage by 7:00am on the correct day but it was still not taken, please call our Customer Services Team (after 4pm on your collection day) on (01775) 761161 who will arrange for it to be collected by 4pm the following working day or complete our Online Form
If your black bag was not put out on time or not left at the curtiledge of your property, you will need to take it back in and then put it out for collection the following week in the correct place.
Please Remember: Black Sacks = Refuse Only
(Refuse will not be collected in green recycling bags).
Garden waste is NOT collected as part of the normal weekly refuse collections. Please see the related links at the bottom of this page for disposal sites.

Q. What should I do if my refuse has been missed?
A. If it was presented in a black bag, does not contain garden refuse and was in place by 7:00am, report your missed collection to the Customer Services Team and arrangements will be made to collect your refuse by 4.00 pm the following day.
