How long will the whole process take?

Once you have paid for your Bulky Collection, our Customer Service Advisors will book a collection date (this will be on your normal refuse collection day). The Refuse Collection team need 48 hours notice of each collection however there may be occasions where due to the number of bookings arranged, we may need to schedule your collection for the week following. Please book early if your removal date is urgent.

The exception to the above is the removal of "White Goods" (fridges, freezers, cookers etc) which have a special collection day and depends on the area you live in.

Please have your item(s) out at the point where you normally leave your refuse bags before 07.00am on your day of collection.

Please note that we cannot remove items from inside your property. If you are disabled or have other medical circumstances which prevent you from putting these items out at your curtilage, please let us know this when you book. We will then be able to consider your case individually and possibly arrange for you to complete a disclaimer to allow us to collect the item from a more convenient place.
