Adaptations to a council property - ramped access

How we provide this service

Information on Adaptations to a council property - ramped access is supported by Housing & Property Service Unit, Construction Services.

Permanent alterations, such as grab rails, ramps and showers are know as 'adaptations'. If you are an elderly person or have a disability and think you may benefit from having an adaptation carried out at your home, we may be able to help.

An Occupational Therapist will make an assessment of your needs before any decisions are made.

If you receive housing benefit and cannot move into your home until the adaptations have been carried out you may be able to get extra help. Please contact the Benefits Section for advice.

What to do to get this service

You will need to call Lincolnshire County Council, Social Services on 01775 725 751 - ask to be put through to the Spalding Office and to speak with the Occupational Therapist.
