Paying and checking your account balance over the Internet
The Council now accepts a wide range of payments over the internet.
When you opt to pay online a list of services will be displayed. You can pay for any of them with these Debit Cards - Maestro (previously Switch), Visa and Visa Delta.
In view of the cost implications, we cannot accept Credit Cards (Visa and Mastercard) for Council Tax, Business Rates or Housing Rents. You can use your Credit Card to pay for any other service displayed when you click on the link below.
For Council Tax and Business Rates - because we have changed our revenues and benefits system, improving the service you receive, we will not be able to accept payment from you without your new account number. You will receive your new account number via your annual bill for 2011/12 which is due to be posted in mid March. If you need to make a payment before you receive your annual bill, you can contact us on 01775 761161 for further information. Once you have your new account number, you will be able to make payments and check your account balance via the link below.
For Housing Rents and Debtors invoices - you can check your account balance before committing to make a payment. Just click on the link below, make your selection from the list and enter your account or invoice number. You then have the option to make a payment if you wish.
