Paying and checking your account balance over the Internet
The Council now accepts a wide range of payments over the internet.
When you opt to pay online a list of services will be displayed. You can pay for any of them with these Debit Cards - Maestro (previously Switch), Visa, Visa Delta and Solo.
In view of the cost implications, we cannot accept Credit Cards (Visa and Mastercard) for Council Tax, Business Rates or Housing Rents. You can use your Credit Card to pay for any other service displayed when you click on the link below.
Before committing to making a payment, you can check your account balance for Council Tax, Business Rates (also called Non Domestic Rates), Housing Rents and Debtors Invoices. Just click on the link below, make your selection from the list and enter your account/invoice number. You then have the option to make a payment if you wish. During March, the balances given for Council Tax and Business Rates are likely to include the new year charges but your new bill may still be on its way to you.
