Then pop down to Spalding’s Ayscoughfee Hall and join in a family creative writing workshop with writer Peter Sansom on Sunday 13th November from 2pm to 4pm.
Peter, from the literary organisation The Poetry Business, has been hailed as ‘the best poetry teacher in the world’ and will welcome new and experienced writers alike for an enjoyable and fulfilling session.
People of all ages are welcome to come along and have a go at their own poems, stories and other types of writing, with the emphasis on it being a fun and informal afternoon.
Refreshments are available at this free event and all pens, paper and the necessary inspiration will be provided.
Peter has been company poet with Marks & Spencer and Prudential, and a Fellow in Poetry at both Leeds and Manchester Universities. His many books include Selected Poems and a textbook, Writing Poems. He is a director, with Ann Sansom, of The Poetry Business in Sheffield.
