The injunction, lasting for 12 months, is against Christine Boneham (43), of Westhorpe Road, Gosberton, near Spalding.
The injunction was sought as the tenant, her children and visitors to her property have, for a number of months, caused regular nuisance to her neighbours by excessive shouting, screaming, swearing, loud music and general anti-social behaviour. Her home and garden were also considered to be in an unacceptable condition.
The injunction, granted on 19th September 2011, enforces her to comply with the following and states:
1. The Defendant must keep her property, including the garden and outbuildings, in a clean and tidy condition, clear of rubbish.
2. The Defendant is prohibited from being abusive or acting in an aggressive manner towards neighbouring residents of Westhorpe Road.
3. The Defendant shall not cause or permit her family, or visitors to her property, to be abusive or act in an aggressive manner towards neighbouring residents of Westhorpe Road.
4. The Defendant shall not cause or permit her family or visitors to her property to enter into any activity that is likely to cause, a nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbouring residents of Westhorpe Road.
A breach of these conditions could result in a fine or imprisonment.
Councillor Christine Lawton, South Holland District Council Portfolio Holder for Housing, said: “This tenant’s behaviour has been wholly unacceptable and we, as reponsible landlords, must act to protect local residents. We will not tolerate anti-social behaviour and will take a very firm line with those who make life a misery for their neighbours.
“We value our good tenants, but those whose behaviour is unacceptable must accept the consequences.”
