A free workshop is being offered where you can hear directly from the BIG Lottery Fund about how you can write a successful application.
Guest presenter Kelly Hart, from the BIG Lottery Fund, will be providing tips on how to write your bid, including eligibility, providing evidence of project needs, budgeting and outcomes.
Organisations will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions about their projects.
The workshop, organised by South Holland District Council’s Community Development Team and the BIG Lottery and supported by South Lincolnshire Community Voluntary Service, will take place on Thursday 8th December from 10am to 12.30pm at the Red Lion Quarter, Crackpool Lane, Spalding.
South Holland Portfolio Holder for Community, Councillor Nick Worth, said: “This will be a good opportunity for community groups to find out how they can gain funding that will greatly benefit the way they work.”
The BIG lottery distributes money to community groups and to projects that improve health, education, the environment and community buildings. It is the largest distributor of National Lottery good cause funding, responsible for giving out 46 percent of the money raised for good causes by the National Lottery.
