With the seventh annual Pumpkin Parade drawing near, Spalding's streets are once again ready to be transformed into a hive of activity for the whole family to enjoy. From amusements and rides, to live music and unmissable entertainment throughout the event, this year's Parade looks set to be a Pump-kin good time. There will also be Fancy Dress, Street Entertainment, Face painting, a Spectacular Fireworks Display and an Open Air Market where you'll find all sorts of niceties to tickle your pumpkin taste buds. Not forgetting of course the parade itself, setting off at 6:30pm from the Sheep Market, it will be headed by our current Flower Queen and will take you on a "Pumpkin Lit" journey around Spalding.

10am - 9pm - A funfair will once again be providing children with all the fun and excitement from their fantastic range of rides, slides and merry-go-rounds. Situated in the Spalding Sheep Market, ........
10am - 9pm - The Open Market includes a variety of stalls with a wide range of choice. Keeping with tradition it also caters for all your pumpkin cravings. Why not warm yourself with pumpkin food, pumpkin treats and pumpkin soup. Ornaments, carvings, tombolas and more, in fact everything pumpkin you're looking for.
10am - 6pm - The Live Stage hosts a captivating assortment of vocal performances, demonstrations, competitions and much, much more. From flower arranging to the line up of this year's Teen Idol, the live stage promises entertainment for all.
6:30pm - The Parade sets off from Spalding's Sheep Market with the 1st Girls Brigade and 3rd Boys Brigade Marching Ambassadors, providing lively tunes and memorable classics that will have people humming, if not singing along. Also creating your own pumpkin lanterns will give that glowing atmosphere for all to enjoy.
8pm - 8:15pm - The amazing Fireworks Display will shoot into action from the roof of the South Holland Centre. With wild colours and breathtaking sights, this display is advisedly viewed from prime locations such as, the High Street car park (near the Tax Offices), the Vista car park (Churchgate) and Vine Street car park (past the Library). Each area maintains a perfect view to this pyrotechnic extravaganza.
6pm - 9pm - The Live Stage brings you an unbelievable line up of top musicians ready to "WOW" the crowds with their jaw dropping talents.
All the way from London and viewed by millions on the ITV1 hit show Britain's Got Talent, 'Paradise Non Gratis' will perform a medley of songs that will leave the crowds aurally fixated.
The next band to enter the stage is the "Energetic" trio of talent, the 'Houndogs'. Armed with a collection of classics, this rockabilly style sensation will even have the dads dancing in the streets.
Leaving only one final band to bring the entire day's events to an outstanding ending. This, modern four-piece rock and pop sensation provides for all styles, occasions and ages. With a fantastic energy between them, crowds are left mesmerised at the sheer talent and passion for music this band produces. Being no stranger to the Spalding audience, 'Evolution' will be dominating the stage straight after the Fireworks Display.
