Shops and Markets in Spalding

Situated on the banks of the River Welland, Spalding's vibrant town centre is free from traffic during the day, with shops and markets being conveniently located within walking distance of the many car parks available.

View of Spalding Town Centre

Spalding provides a friendly and stylish place to shop with easy accessibility to all areas, from the pedestrianised Market Place and Hall Place through to the Holland Market development. There are many familiar high street names together with an abundance of independent, specialist shops offering individual service and attention.

There are over 270 shops and businesses in the town centre so the choice is considerable, with an ideal mix of independent and major national outlets.

Two department stores, fashion and shoe shops, two specialist book shops, a choice of chemists and pharmacists, butchers and bakers, outdoor wear, music, computer hard and software, needlework - everything you could possibly need! And look out for the galleries and antique shops. Make sure that you do not miss the shops that are just outside the centre: Winsover Road, New Road, Sheep Market and The Crescent all have their specialist shops and distinctive atmosphere.
