Visiting the Area

South Holland is an area in Lincolnshire known for its pleasant villages, interesting market towns, magnificent medieval churches, prolific garden centres and rich agricultural heritage.

Spalding is the largest market town within the district - situated on the River Welland - with an attractive waterfront boasting grand Georgian terraces, tree lined streets and pretty riverside walks.  Much of the town is now an outstanding conservation area and offers a traditional shopping centre, busy markets and plenty of history.
