2012 Olympic legacy

'5 hours physical education and sport per week for every young person'

That's the task the Government have set for the Lincolnshire South East School Sport Partnership based out of Spalding High School Specialist Sports College. The School Sport Partnership is at the forefront of an ambitious Government Public Service Agreement (PSA) target linked to the successful delivery and legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The target is to increase the percentage of 5-16 years participating in at least 2 hours of high quality PE and sport at school and also to increase the percentage of 5-19 year olds participating in at least 3 further hours per week of sporting opportunities.

The Lincolnshire South East School Sport Partnership is currently working with 46 primary/special schools and 10 secondary schools across South Holland, Bourne and the Deepings.
