As part of the booking process, South Holland District Council will then work with you to check the dates, discuss event planning and safety, and agree the fees.
Ayscoughfee Hall Museum & Gardens are located at Churchgate, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE11 2RA. The licence covers mainly the gardens to the south of Ayscoughfee Hall Museum.
Ayscoughfee Gardens are situated on the banks of the River Welland within the grounds of the Grade I listed Ayscoughfee Hall, that dates back to the 1450s and has architectural details from the Medieval, Georgian and Victorian periods.
The Gardens are set within 5 acres and feature a late 18th Century Icehouse, fine yew hedges dating back to the 1720s, an ornamental lake and a war memorial designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The gardens also offer modern amenities including a café & toilets, a children's play area, bowling green, putting green and tennis courts. The South Lawn is available for events and smaller scale theatrical shows.
