Open Arts Competition and Exhibition
10th South Holland Open Arts Competition and Exhibition 

This prestigious annual event has been running since 1999 and has attracted artists and visitors from all over the East of England.

The competition is open to artists over the age of 14, who live or work in: Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Peterborough, Nottinghamshire, East Leicestershire, East Northamptonshire, Rutland, North West Norfolk, Fenland, and East Cambridgeshire.

The exhibition took place at the beginning of January 2010 and an independent panel of judges chose the following winners:

South Holland Resident Award - Professional
Sonia Bramma - Last Ferry To Walberswick

South Holland Resident Award - Amateur
Dennis Ottaway - Canal Venice

Digital Technology / Photography Award
Shaun Clark - Salt Mill

Young Persons Award
George Barnett - Reflective Snacks

Young Persons Runner-up
Charles Gaunt - Forgotten Forest

Society for All Artists (SAA) Award
Mo Teeuw - Blakeney

Public Vote
Throughout the exhibition visitors were able to vote for their favourite piece. The artwork that received the most votes was:

"A Stormy Evening at Derwent Water" by Gerald Marsland.
