This project ended in October 2008.
Four Seasons was a transnational project funded through Lincolnshire and Fenland Leader+. The aim of the project was to forge links between the Lincolnshire Fends and Bukki Hegyhat in Hungary encouraging the communities to join together and share skills and experiences of local industry, careers and culture, history, citizenship and the environment.
This was achieved through a series of exchanges between the young people of the Bukki Hegyhat region of Hungary and young people from the South Holland District, as well as annual open-air performances in Ayscoughfee Hall Gardens.

Different perspectives was part of the Four Seasons Project that aimed to depict people's perceptions of life in the Lincolnshire Fens and to celebrate the shared and contrasting experience of local communities through free workshops in poetry, photography and traditional craft. The workshops were very successful and the work produced was of an extremely high standard.
A selection of photographs and creative writing produced during the project has been put together in a book, which will be available in South Holland soon.
