What subjects did you take at school/college/university?
NVQ Level 2 Carpentry at college.

Tell us a little bit about your job and what it involves
My job involves a variety of different things; from repairing empty houses so that a new family can move in, to response repairs.

What do you like about working in Local Government/what are the benefits?
I am working out in the community and meeting a variety of different people, which is giving me more confidence.

What attracted you to working at a local authority?
I got the job at the Council because I was looking for an apprenticeship in carpentry, and this one came up, so I applied for it. I was invited to interview and got the job.

What are your career aspirations?
To improve my carpentry skills.
