There are three main areas of focus for the Community Development Team.
Arts Development: The Council has two Arts Development workers that work with local groups and organisations to encourage a broad range of artistic endeavours from music and live performance to fine arts and creative events.
Ayscoughfee Hall museum: Which is a Grade 2 listed medieval family home that has been converted into a museum. The collection of exhibits reflects life through the ages in the Fens.
Events and Marketing: The Council organises the Pumpkin Parade in Spalding every Autumn, and assists others to deliver major public events such as the Flower Parade in the Spring and the Christmas shopping day event in the Winter. |
