The Legal Services Team provides legal advice over a wide range of functions to Council Officers and Members. In addition to providing legal advice, staff within the Team also prepare legal agreements such as orders, licences, leases, etc. Data Protection and Freedom of Information matters also come under the jurisdiction of the Team.
The Electoral section is also within the Legal Services Team, dealing with all election and electoral registration matters, including electoral boundaries.
The Monitoring Officer is the Head of Customer, Legal and Member Services and the Deputy Monitoring Officer is the Legal Services Manager. |
