The ACX service supports the Rural Action Zone (RAZ) which is the local strategic partnership of public, private, community and voluntary organisations working together for the benefit of the people of South Holland. Partnership working requires good people skills and the ability to translate big and often complex issues into local action. It is a statutory function which is increasingly central to developments in local government. RAZ is committed to promoting and building stronger more cohesive communities. The RAZ Community Plan explains how the partners involved plan to deliver the partnership's priorities.

Aside from managing the general business of the RAZ, the partnerships team is involved in co-ordinating with the Council's operational services, influencing the thinking of regional and sub-regional bodies and cultivating networks of partner organisations. The team adds value by encouraging and enabling partners to bring resources into the area that support our own priorities, complement our operational services, directly benefit our communities and help secure the future and well-being of the area.
The ACX service also supports the South Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership (CSP), another statutory strategic partnership including local authorities, the police, health, fire and rescue. The CSP is committed to promoting and building safer, stronger communities and community cohesion. The aim is to do this through development of strong effective networks of partners, working with local communities and through the Community safety Strategy and Action Plan.
