Communications and Marketing Assistant

The Communications and Marketing team in ACX manages all aspects of communication. The team works with all the Council's services to support Press Relations and media liaison, promotional and marketing material and publications. The remit of the team is to improve the standard of internal and external communications, to establish excellent relationships with the local Press and to improve the way in which the council is perceived through good marketing and consistently good design and content. Through its various functions the team's overarching task is to uphold the reputation of the council.

The team's mission is to:

  • Inform people in an effective and imaginative way about the Council's services and how they can access them;
  • Promote a consistent and positive image of the Council and the District as a whole; and,
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the local press.
