Strategic Housing

Research into the viability of Intermediate Rent and Assured Market Rent Tenancies within Rutland, South Holland and South Kesteven.

Due to the reduction in availability of future government funding for affordable housing, Ecorys was commissioned to research the possibility of assured market rent and intermediate rented tenancies as a way of continuing the delivery of housing for people unable to achieve home ownership.

Local Investment Plan 2011 - 2026

The Peterborough Partial Housing Market Area and Local Investment Plan provides a strategic framework to deliver the vision for the area.
Affordable Housing Delivery Plan 2011-13

We have updated our delivery plan to support new housing policies and targets.

Strategic Housing Market Assessment Update (2010)

An update of the 2008 Peterborough Sub-Regional Strategic Housing Market Assessment has been carried out. The 2010 update reviews housing need figures and discusses the impact of the recession on the housing market.

Lincolnshire Housing Strategy

The Lincolnshire Housing Strategy has been adopted by all strategic housing authorities in Lincolnshire, together with Lincolnshire County Council and key housing partners in the public and private sectors.

The Strategy should be read in conjunction with its sister document, Lincolnshire Housing Strategy, Establishing the Baseline (March 2009).

Strategic Housing Market Assessment (2008)

The provision of new affordable housing is a top priority for the Council. We have been working with other nearby councils to produce the 2008 Peterborough Sub-Regional SHMA.

This shows supply, demand and need in the housing market. It suggests possible options for the future for both market and affordable housing. Much of the information is specific to South Holland and will inform the emerging Local Development Framework.

Supplementary Planning Document (Adopted 2007)

Our Supplementary Planning Document on Affordable Housing states our planning requirements regarding affordable housing. It makes reference to housing need in the district, policies regarding affordable housing, types of affordable housing, requirements and the process involved.
