Boston Borough and South Holland District Councils will be working together with the County Council to produce a single Local Plan for their areas. As part of the work towards this Plan, we will need to produce a Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA), which will enable us to:
- identify sites with potential for housing;
- assess their housing potential; and
- assess whether they are likely to be developed and, if so, when.
In April we asked for views on how the SHLAA should be carried out and we received many useful comments (PDF, 39KB)
We have considered all the comments we received and have finalised our methodology (PDF, 39KB).
We are now inviting you to let us know about any sites within Boston Borough and South Holland that you think should be included within the SHLAA - i.e. sites that you think should be developed for housing over the next 20 years. Please let us have the details of sites even if you have submitted them for inclusion within previous Boston Borough or South Holland SHLAAs - we need to be sure that the information we hold on such sites is not out-of-date.
If you would like to suggest any sites for inclusion in the SHLAA, please use this proforma (PDF, 68KB). Hopefully the notes which are attached to the form will answer any questions you may have but, if you have any specific queries or would like any advice when completeing the form, please contact:
