Certain plants and animals are protected by law and consideration must be given to their protection in
all building and development.
This leaflet (PDF , 328KB) gives sources of information regarding the protection of wildlife and where advice can be sought during the planning application process.
There are two ways in which you can submit a planning application. You can use the
Planning Portal to submit an application online, just click on the Planning Portal Logo below and this will take you to the Planning Portal website, follow the instructions set out at that website to submit an application online.
The alternative method is to download the relevant application, fill it out and post it to us with all the correct supporting information and fee

Listed Building and Conservation Area Consent
Use these forms if you are proposing changes to a listed building or a property in a conservation area. The forms under the householder section (above) also include combined forms for both planning permission and listed building/conservation area consent. You should use the forms in the householder section if you require both planning permission AND listed building/conservation area consent.
