Clarification of Printing Policy

Due to an increase in the number of planning applications and other correspondence submitted electronically to the Local Planning Authority, we have had to set out some ground rules.

With the introduction of the 1 App forms recently there has been a steady increase in the number of applications submitted via the Planning Portal.

It is also increasingly common for agents and members of the public to submit queries, pre apps and amendments via email.

Due to this increase in electronic communication the burden of printing costs have fallen on the local authority, and so we have set out, what we believe to be, the reasonable limits to what printing we will do in the office.

What we WILL print:

- Applications submitted via the Planning Portal
- Amendments submitted online (e.g. design amendments, whether these have been requested or not).

What we WILL NOT print:

- Amendments submitted to correct basic errors on submitted plans (e.g. discrepancies between layout/elevations)
- Pre app submissions where larger than A4.

The above information gives clarity, both to our customers and our staff in the office, however, If you have any queries about this please contact us on 01775 761161.
