The Community Risk Register Explained

The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 places a duty on all Category 1 responders, including South Holland District Council, to assess the risks applicable within their respective jurisdiction or geographical area. These risks are those which may lead to significant injuries or loss of life, significant damage to property or significant disruption to essential services.

This information has been provided by all Category 1 Responders and has been collated through the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) into a single document known as the Community Risk Register (CRR). The register is available to allow Category 1 responders, businesses and residents to plan for the future with some knowledge of the hazards and associated risks that we may face.

More information regarding the CRR can be found on the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum website
