Councillor Gary Taylor is the Portfolio Holder for Internal Services, Performance and Business Development, as authorised by the Leader of the Council.
Councillor Taylor is the member for the Spalding Castle Ward. Service delivery units of the Portfolio include Compass Business Services Client; Operational Finance: Accountancy, Exchequer, Capital and Grants, and Internal Control; ICT; Human Resources: Payroll, Recruitment, Training and Development, Member Development, and Corporate Health and Safety; Customer Services; Revenues and Benefits; Performance: Demographic and Place Data, Consultation, Corporate Planning, Performance, Procurement and Contracts, Risk Management, and Lincolnshire Procurement; Legal Services; Communications: Corporate Communications and Consultation, Internal Communication, Marketing, and Graphics; Business Development.
Day to day duties include attending meetings of the Council such as the Cabinet, full Council, and the Spalding Town Forum. Councillor Taylor also represents South Holland at various external meetings/outside bodies such as Britain in Bloom Advisory Committee, and Spalding Energy Project - Community Liaison Group.
