Councillor Christine Lawton is the Portfolio Holder for Housing Landlord, as authorised by the Leader of the Council.
Councillor Lawton is a member of the Spalding Wygate Ward. Service delivery units of the Portfolio include Housing Landlord:
Strategy and Enabling, Advice and Homelessness, Tenancy Management, and Housing Revenue Account Property Management. Day to day duties include attending meetings of the Council such as the Cabinet, full Council, Planning Committee, Licensing Committee, Committee of the Licensing Authority, Spalding Town Forum, and the Member Development Steering Group. Councillor Lawton also represents South Holland at various external meetings/outside bodies such as Lincolnshire Supporting People Commissioning Body, Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board, and Boston Womens Aid.
