Portfolio Holder for Financial Strategy

Councillor Paul Przyszlak

Councillor Paul Przyszlak is a Deputy Leader of the Cabinet, as authorised by the Leader of the Council.

Councillor Przyszlak is a member for the Crowland and Deeping St Nicholas Ward. His Portfolio Holder duties reflect the functions of Financial Strategy; and cover the following specific functions - Financial Strategy, Value for Money, Asset Strategy and Efficiency. Service delivery units of the Portfolio include Finance, Revenues and Benefits, Legal Services, Asset Management, Member Services, Customer Services, IT, Human Resources, Organisational Development and Procurement. Brief for policy emanating from the Treasury, and the Department for Work and Pensions. Councillor Przyszlak is also a member of the following Partnerships - Shared Services, Legal Shared Service Partnership and the Lincolnshire Enterprise Board. The Portfolio also leads on the following Corporate Priority - Access to Services.

Councillor Przyszlak's Portfolio is also supported by a Junior Portfolio Holder, Councillor Andrew Woolf.

Day to day duties include attending meetings of the Council such as the Grievance Panel, Cabinet, full Council, and the IDB Liaison Arrangements Sub-Group. Councillor Przyszlak also represents South Holland at external meetings/outside bodies such as the Lincolnshire Enterprise, the South Holland Internal Drainage Board and the Lincolnshire Shared Services Partnership Member Management Board. Councillor Przyszlak is also a County Councillor.
