Council Structure & Meetings



South Holland District Council is made up of 37 members. It has a Leader and a Chairman.

The Chairman represents the Council on a number of engagements, and this information can be found in the Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen section.

The Cabinet is made up of 8 members including the Leader of the Council, and these are also the Portfolio Holders.  There are also 2 Junior Portfolio Holders.

Various committees and panels hold regular meetings to decide on various matters.

South East Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee

  
Our democratic policies including the Constitution, Forward Plan, Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing and Petitions. The South East Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee is a new separate statutory local planning authority made up of 3 members from each of the partner authorities, namely: South Holland District Council, Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire County Council.
