The purpose of this charter is to set out the objectives, scope, role, responsibilities and authority of the Internal Audit service within South Holland District Council.
The Internal Audit service is provided by Lincolnshire County Council Corporate Audit & Risk Management. The Charter will be reviewed and approved by the Governance and Audit Committee as part of the annual review of the effectiveness of the council's system of internal audit.
