Our Vision...

'to develop and promote South Holland as a thriving, living and working rural community'.

To help us achieve this vision, we have a mission statement which is made up of four themes which guide the actions and programmes for delivering the vision. The mission statement is:

Listening - listen and involve the community and work with partners
Providing - provide a safe, secure and healthly place to live
Developing - develop a thriving rural environment
Leading - be a leading edge authority, providing value for money quality services.

To help us identify and measure what it is we will actually do to achieve our vision and mission statement themes, we have corporate objectives. The Corporate Plan sets out these objectives.

The Council also follow and work towards a number of other plans and policies.
